Penrose Director elected to OCLC Global Council

Dalia Corkrum, the Director of Penrose Library, was elected as an Americas Regional Council (ARC) Delegate to the Global Council of the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC).
OCLC describes itself as a “nonprofit, membership, computer library service and research organization dedicated to the public purposes of furthering access to the world’s information and reducing library costs.” Corkrum is one of 14 delegates tasked with representing more than 22,000 OCLC members from libraries and cultural heritage organizations in Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean and the United States.
